Project Description

The MagicTech IT Infrastructure Upgrade project focused on transforming an outdated, loosely structured environment into a secure, high‑performance, and centrally managed enterprise‑class infrastructure. The project included redesigning the network using managed switches, implementing VLAN segmentation, configuring trunking, deploying a new physical server, and building a Hyper‑V virtualization platform to host modernized domain services.

As part of the upgrade, new domain controllers were installed, all PCs were joined to the domain, legacy systems were migrated into new virtual machines, and Group Policies were applied to standardize security and user experience. A next‑generation firewall was deployed to enforce access rules between VLANs and regulate internet usage. Additionally, enterprise‑grade Aruba wireless access points were configured with multiple SSIDs mapped to the appropriate VLANs. The telephony environment was also modernized through the deployment of a Yeastar PBX system and Fanvil IP Phones.

This comprehensive upgrade delivered a unified, secure, and scalable IT foundation for MagicTech’s operations.
